Heather has been a management professional for fifteen years. Heather has comprehensive operations experience with expertise in both the financial and technical sectors related to her current position at Dominion Air and Heat.
Heather holds a fifty five percent ownership in Dominion Air and Heat, LLC and is responsible for making the financial and administrative decisions in the company. She took over operations of Dominion Air and Heat LLC in 1998 and is currently Vice President of (WCA) Woman Contractors Association. Heather has been a board member for the past 2 years serving as chair on the Membership committee and member of the Governmental Affairs and Events Committees.
Heather is actively pursuing all means available to network, market, grow and help Dominion Air and Heat, LLC succeed. Since her induction into the company she has enabled the company to become part of the Buy Board Cooperative, Choice Facility Partners Cooperative and has obtained certification for the company as an SBE through Metro, Port of Houston and City of Houston.
Entering a male dominated industry has provided Heather with a series of obstacles that she had to overcome. The biggest of which was the credibility of her knowledge in her line of work as well as the intimidation factor given the fact that very few women have the intestinal fortitude to enter, bear and succeed in the air conditioning contracting environment.

Heather has volunteered for the Women Contractor’s Association for the past nine years and has participated in various food drives for the Houston Food Bank. She has also volunteered and participated in the Disparity Study through the WCA. As a result of the Disparity Study and WCA efforts, WBE’s were placed back into city construction goals. Heather is currently working with the City of Houston Attorney’s office and council members on the Wage Theft Ordinance on behalf of the WCA. She also supports the WCA student chapter to help young women entering their fields of endeavor.
Her volunteer activities include working local polling locations and working with children up to 5 years of age at her local church to establish biblical and social principles and develop their motor skills. Heather is also a Life Impact group organizer and administrator as well as group leader in her local community. Heather has been married for 23 years with 3 children. The oldest son is a junior at SHSU in Huntsville, Texas. Her daughter is a freshman at San Jacinto Community College and her youngest son attends a private school in Houston, Texas.
